Bio

Jack spent 34 years in education, starting as a math teacher, a football, basketball, baseball coach, and athletic director at a large high school.  He was also a boy’s Junior High School Assistant Principal, Junior High School Principal, and Elementary School Principal.

 He has been married to his wife, Sandra, for 54 years, and they have two sons, Jeff and Jason, and one daughter-in-law, Camille.  They have two granddaughters, Ruth and Rachel.

He has been a member of the Methodist church all of his life.  He has served in leadership positions at every level.  He has been an elementary Sunday School teacher, adult teacher, and senior adult teacher.

Jack attended the University of Alabama, Troy University, LaGrange College, Georgia Southern University, and the University of West Georgia.  He has a B.A. degree and a masters degree in math and add-on masters degree in Educational Leadership as well as an Educational Specialist (six-year) degree in administration and supervision.

He is a full-time caregiver for his wife, Sandra, who has had Multiple Sclerosis for twenty years and is in a wheelchair.  She is a retired English teacher and high school counselor.

Jack’s passion is golf, but he loves to exercise.  He either plays golf, walks a five-mile trek in the neighborhood, or goes to the fitness center every day but Sunday, when he gives his 77-year-old legs a rest.
